The facilty is old & the room smelled of cigarettes, but everything else was wonderful. If looking for authentic Japanese experience (for the working and middle class Japanese) this is a very good experience. Dinner and breakfast buffet was really good. However there's little to do around the lake, unlike Yamashiro ir Yamanaka onsen area.

Onsen hotel with goodlake view

This is a bit run down onsen hotel but still has an old charm. Onsen is, quite naturally, very nice. It has very open rotenburo (outdoor onsen). Only drawback is wooden wall which blocks lake view. Dinner and breakfast, with buffet style, was just plain. Overall, it is ok, not great.

とにかくお風呂が良い。広くてお湯が良くて露天風呂も気持ちよくて　疲労回復になるので　しょっちゅう利用しています。施設まわりも遊歩道があるので散歩ができるのも良いです。

プレミアムのお部屋で宿泊しました。 打ち上げ花火が海側の窓張りのお部屋でお部屋から見れて、素敵でした！^ ^ また夏に行きたいと思いました。
