"This was a wonderful place to stay. A bit older and could use some renovations however, the parking was free and it was so close to the beach. We felt safe and comfortable. "

"This was a great property and the location was perfect for a family of 4 to get around and to the beach. I would highly recommend this location if you are staying in Waikiki."
"I loved this place! Everything we needed was included in the kitchen! I loved that parking was included, and it was right in the heart of waikiki, so everything was super walkable. Will definitely be staying again!"
"Loved it. Close to everything that you could possibly need. Nothing fancy, but clean and the location can’t be beat. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Overall, if you are looking to have a great time in Hawaii without completely breaking your bank, this is the spot.
People are nice and give amazing tips on how to genuinely enjoy Hawaii. And there are amazing food truck spots in the area.
10/10 recomend!!! "
"Everyone was helpful and friendly. Easy access in and out of the parking lot. Only thing wish they had more elevators but overall we will stay at the Hyatt again! "
"We loved our ocean front king, huge room, lanai, comfortable. This wing (diamond head) is being attacked by the sea, so enjoy the best ocean front deal on Waikiki while you can! Monkeypod restaurant is great, with lots of oceanfront tables. Downside: tiny beach on one side only, other side underwater. However, one can walk from the tiny beach past Ft De Russy and points north, must go around by street to get to the zoo side beaches."
"My recent stay at the Waikiki Resort Hotel was a mixed bag. On the one hand, the location is truly unbeatable. Being just a block from the beach means you can be on the sand in a matter of minutes, and it's surrounded by countless shops and restaurants. The staff was also friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the daily housekeeping kept our room clean and tidy. The hotel itself is well-maintained and provides a comfortable base for exploring the area.
However, a major point of frustration was the parking situation. While the hotel does offer on-site self-parking, it comes with a hefty price tag of around $47 per day, which is a significant extra cost on top of the room rate. What's worse is that the parking is described as "limited" and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. This creates a stressful situation, especially when you've rented a car to explore the island and rely on having a secure spot to park it at the end of the day.
For a hotel in a major tourist hub, the lack of guaranteed parking for guests is a serious issue. If you're planning on using a rental car for your stay, be prepared for the possibility of having to find alternative (and potentially even more expensive) parking options off-site, or simply choose to rely on rideshares and public transportation to avoid the headache altogether."
"The amenities were really nice and it seems to be very larger resort with so many options for shopping and every day living
We loved the high tower suite w amazing view and the service was so friendly. "
"My recent stay at the Waikīkī Marriott Resort & Spa was truly exceptional. The hotel is a fantastic base for exploring Waikiki, providing all the resources you could possibly need right on-site, including rentals, packages, and tours. This convenience made it incredibly easy to plan and enjoy all the local attractions.
The hotel's facilities are also a major highlight. The entire property is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with clear and helpful signage that makes it simple to navigate. From the pools to the common areas, everything felt neat.
What really made my experience stand out, though, was the staff. Everyone I encountered—from the front desk to the retail stores—was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their genuine aloha spirit made me feel right at home and elevated the entire stay.
I highly recommend the Waikīkī Marriott Resort & Spa for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and friendly hotel with top-notch amenities. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the best of Waikiki.
