"place was great, so easy to check in. only one very small issue - the coffee capsules for the coffee machine were not the correct ones and didnt work. When we emptied the rubbish bin 10mins before leaving a huge spider appeared."

Not practical, as would not have spaces tall enough for milk or drink bottles. We did convey this to reception. Hope they will fix this before Easter. "

"This property is so quaint and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay here. The smell is so reminiscent of my grandmother’s house which is so nostalgic and sweet. The room was lovely with daily housekeeping. We also enjoyed the spa bath. Such a great modern addition to an antique looking home. What made me love this place even more is their staff. "We had a lovely time at Higgins Lane for 4nights in November. Firstly it is a great location,within walking distance to restaurants,pubs and shopping. Secondly the staff is very accommodating and very friendly. There were a couple of things needing replacing in the room and it was seen to quickly with no issues. "Lovely place to visit, they have a cafe that open till 3pm but dinner you can Cook your own at the bbq area. We love the fier pitch near the lake. "

It's very private and has an outdoor shower as well. Bed is comfortable and large. The property has plenty of windows to see the wildlife. "Wow what an awesome property. A hidden gem! The apartment and surrounds of the property was everything we hoped for. Horses, chickens, dogs, lovely walks around the property. Can highly recommend for a luxury getaway. "

"Was very surprised by the quality, comfort spaciousness at this accomodation. Sits near the corner of town and walkable to the centre. We had the roadside top level room, loads of space for a one year old to stay occupied! Huge bedroom area and living room space that is separated with a door. Lovely bath for two people. Was blown away at the quality vs the price, very affordable! Would highly recommend a stay at Margaret's Forrest."
