"The mattress and pillows were horrible needs updating. The shower head was spraying extremely hard so it was hard to not get the floor wet. The coffee maker needs to be thoroughly cleaned. And the toilet had stains around the inside bowl. Customer service was great though. "

"My wife and I were attending a event at a local theater and needed a room for just one night. The TownPlace by Marriott Chicago Waukegan/Gurnee was perfect! Plenty of free parking in the well lit lot. Great front desk service during check in (Fran). Coffee, fruit and a few other items in the lobby area were available upon our arrival at 3 pm. The hotel is clean, modern and well laid out. The pool was very nice and the whole area was extremely clean. The room was larger than the usual hotel room...

"Property and surrounding area were excellent. There are so many amenities within walking distance for shopping,food,and entertainment that I didn't have to move my car once. Only complaint...the property needs more than on elevator in the main lobby area. As a flurry of guests check in and out it's a long wait for one."

"Our second stay at this Lakeshore /Vernon H. Indigo was just as perfect as our first! Pleasant, friendly staff! Beautiful room with a decent amount of space really helps you relax. Comfortable mattresses & variety of pillows. Definitely not your cookie cutter hotel! Wish we could have stayed longer!! "
