"Beautiful property in a beautiful location, clean, comfortable and magnificent views. Dog friendly. Some basic foodstuff and human and doggy treats on arrival. Comfortable bed, everything you need for a self catering break. Excellent communication from the owner prior to arrival with easy to follow instructions to get there. Once arrived, it is so quiet and peaceful you can’t help but relax!"

"The spindrift guest house is excellent you get met at the door by the hosts Mark and Jeni, who make you feel so welcome like your part of the family. They show you around the breakfast room and the lounge . The rooms are big and comfy thw whole place is spotless. Breakfast is amazing and you pick what you want from a changing menu daily which is finished off with homade loaf from Jeni we had banana loaf this morning which was still warm. Nothing is to much trouble for the hosts i would...

"Overlooking golf course and the Firth of Forth, can not praise this little gem of a property enough. Spotless, communication brilliant. Easy access to town and train, to Edinburgh. Too top the 4 night break saw the Northern Lights, perfect spot. If back that way would definitely stay again. "

"We had a perfect stay here. We were greeted with a welcome basket with snacks. There was also milk, eggs, butter and bread. Everything we needed was there. It was comfortable and the location was very scenic. The hot tub was incredible. Would definitely stay there again! "

A wonderful spot in Edinburgh

"The location is ideal! It is a short walk from the train station with bus and tram stops steps away. Even though it is right on a busy road it is a quiet sanctuary. The room was a peaceful place to end every day of walking this gorgeous clean city. The breakfast buffet was a delicious way to begin each day. It was the only hotel in my price range that offered 2 twin beds in the same room. Unlike the US, a “double room” means 1 bed for 2 people. "
