"Decided to treat myself to an overnight stay in The Empire and what a fabulous experience. I was upgraded on arrival and had a fabulous room with a large bathtub and sea views. The room was very comfortable and the bed was heavenly. Sitting by the pool was a beautiful experience but remember to bring bug spray! Breakfast was fantastic and overall the experience was just wonderful. "

"Bathroom fan is on 24/7. Shower doors broken won’t close. Lack of hot water (6 min max). Extremely Leaky toilet. Leaky bidet hose. Broken air conditioner remote. Loud generator sounds throughout the day/night. Kettle cannot fit under the sink at all to refill water. Lacking “do not disturb” door sign. Loud sounds from water pipes. Cafe inside the hotel doesn’t operate. Cafe outside of the hotel is cash only. Stray dogs wandering around."

"If you have a long layover in Brunei airport, this is a great option. Just downstairs from the departure gates, it is just 2 min walk to departure. Includes some vouchers for drink and food machines, but even when one didn't work, it was only $1 to buy"
