"It was super easy to stay at Statesman hotel. My favourite thing was the showers, second to the black our blinds. You wouldnt know youre staying at a busy hotel at all. Plenty of parking, easy check in and check out. Would recommend for all travellers on a budget!"

"This was a great place to stay in a really good central location, with plenty of things to do within a fairly short drive. Reception staff were absolutely lovely. The room looks relatively nice but there were just a lot of small things that made it really outdated. Things such as no smart TV, a really crappy showerhead, not very comfortable beds etc 😅 that being said, I would absolutely stay again and if they updated a few things it would elevate people's stays SO much. "Bathroom had a 70s vibe to it but was the cleanest I have ever seen, no mould whatsoever, well done. The draws and cupboards need that silicone padding to absorb noise or some other soft closing mechanism, cheap to implement. The windows are very thin and a lot of noise comes through from the road despite hotel in quiet part of town, expensive to implement. Everything else was excellent."
