"Having the restaurant closed and the hotel locked when we arrived at 6:30 pm was a bit of a pain. We couldn’t get an answer from the number on the door and were about to leave and find another hotel when I found another number in my email that got a response. The place was fine otherwise."

"This was our second stay. The location is excellent. It is in the midst of one of the most beautiful wine villages in France. It affords you the chance to hike to three nearby chateaus (ruins). It is very quiet and peaceful. Great food all around, and great wine, too. "

"We loved staying at this property. The hotel common areas and rooms are beautiful and the staff is very helpful. Fresh bottles of water are delivered daily. The hotel lobby is lovely and having 2 Michelin star JYS in the building was a bonus. Proximity to old town was perfect. Close enough to walk daily without being in the middle of the crowds. "

"This property is close to the train station and a short walk to the Christmas Village. Our Rm#3 Terrace was large and airy. Nice to have space to spread out and relax. The breakfast was continental with a coffee machine that made all types. The proprietor was always around but we did not find her to be friendly or an engaging hostess. We would recommend! "

"We ended up at this hotel last minute after an issue with another booking we had made in Colmar. I am very glad we ended up at this hotel. The staff were so kind and accommodating right from when we turned up 30 mins after booking, until checkout. Highly recommend. "Super location, older character style properly right on the main square. Very helpful stuff. However rooms are dated and beds uncomfortable. We booked superior room which was very basic. I can only imagine what standard rooms are like. Toilet and bathroom are separate across the room which was not good having to go across to wash your hands after using toilet facility. Breakfast was very basic and not worth the money. Plenty of eating places just outside so don’t bother paying for it. Overall 4 out of 5 due to location and helpful staff. "
