The staff was very helpful and friendly! The hotel has had a complete makeover inside. It looks great and smells great! Very comfortable! I had a wonderful stay!

For the price, you cant beat it. Yes, it wasnt as nice as a $200 hotel, but it was $55. Bathrooms were clean, room was clean. For a $55 room, this thing was awesome. It gives a $55 room a good name. Most of them that are priced like this lack on cleanliness. I was satisfied.

The place was about what I expected for the cost. The check-in was easy, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the A/C worked well. There wasn't a hair drier or refrigerator in the room, like I said it was fine for the bux,

Declining maintenance

I've stayed here multiple times to visit family over the past 5 to 6 years. The hotel seems to be lacking in maintenance as the years pass. Its still relatively clean, but lights not working in the rooms has become the norm. Missing/broken towel racks, water damaged window frames, and ripped window screens are a few things I saw on this trip. This is supposedly a nonsmoking motel, but the smell of cigarettes was strong in the hallway. This is a first for me to experience as I've seen the owners kickout guests for smoking in their room. The elevator was also out of service, but I had my room on the first floor.

Ehh..

The pictures shown do not represent what the location looks like. There were a lot of things that were misrepresented. I wasn't expecting a 5-star experience, but the fact that the floors in the lobby areas hadn't been swept for a long time, hallways not vacuumed, the grasses were overgrown around it (lower shin height), and the elevator sounds like it's going to fail any minute, was a little off putting. If they are okay with allowing you to see the main areas in this condition, how do things look behind the scenes? Our room was clean and tidy, decent amenities, but still kind of made me weary if the main areas were so unkept. Also, my biggest complaint- at check in they announce your room number out loud in front of everyone, which to me is a safety issue. The lobby was very busy and that made me super uncomfortable. They advertise free coffee and had the sign hanging for it (we were looking for the coffee and said out loud "oh look it's advertised, it will probably be here in the morning"), but the next day when we went by, they had removed the whole sign-- like a canvas advertisement sign from corporate Motel 6. It was okay for the cost, but I probably would not stay here again.

The entire property needs a major renovation or just closing the doors! Door handles coming off, grass not mowed, elevator had something sticky on the floor and the smell was horrible. Everything in the hotel was outdated and run down! The bed was like a brick. The only thing I can say good… the floor in the room looked recently redone and the shower was new. Do yourself a favor and go up the hill to the Baymont Inn and Suites. I wish I had checked before I booked this property. The Baymont Inn and suites was only $10 more! Lesson learned

Minor issues

We were on the 3 rd floor and the ants were terrible. I felt as I was afraid to move in the shower as it felt unstable as if it would give way and fall to the floor below. The pool was green even though the chlorine smell was terrible as I was walking by. Just the over all appearance of the property was run down looking. They were minor issues that I could see being an easy fix. If the owner spent a little time and money this place has the potential of being a great little affordable place to stay. Oh and the little cleaning lady was wonderful, she was so polite and nice.

Had reservation for two nights. Air cond would not run due to unit needing a capacitor for the compressor motor. Water leak on toilet shut off. Tank fed with solid tubing instead of flexible. Placed ice bucket to collect water drip, needed to be emptyed every two hours. TV remote wold not work, rotated batteries to make contact, worked fine after that. Loved the handicap shower. Nice bed slept very well. No microwave but refrigerator was cold. Good ice machine. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again when passing thru. Priced very reasonable and clean.

Good for overnight maybe, but not a extended stay. The beds are very uncomfortable, the air conditioning did not work properly and made a horrible noise. I will say tho the workers were nice upon arrival.
