Awesome hotel!
We were pleasantly surprised with 5-stars service, ambiance and amenities! We were immediately impressed from the moment we stepped foot onto the hotel grounds.
Concierge was hospitable, efficient and knowledgeable. Place was immaculate, spacious and beautifully designed with an oriental setting.
Room was clean. Bathroom was spotless. Sheets clean as well. Hotel provided basic toiletries like toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, shampoo and bath soap.
Security was adequate.
Gym though small, serves basic functions - dumbbell, treadmill and stationery bikes.
Laundry services, though self service was impressive. 2x 15kg washer, a dryer, an ironing board and a steamer for communal use.
Buffet breakfast has adequate spread for a 4-star hotel, but don't expect superly yummy spread. Coffee can do with a little more robustness in it.
Meals served at the same restaurant for lunch and dinner wasn't considered cheap, but food was yummier and tastier than the buffet breakfast spread. A special call-out to their Beef kway teow - a must try dish.
The lifts unfortunately reek of cigarette smoke most of the time.
All their staffs there, from the bellboy to the restaurant servers are well trained and sincere in fronting hotel guests.
Overall, it's a 5-star experience in a 4- star hotel.
