The staff was amazing, no complaints about how accommodating everyone we spoke with was. Lots of old water damage from unknown storm. Hallway carpets looked extremely moldy from previous water, mold on the walls as well. Broken elevator, my disabled husband had to struggle up four flights of stairs. Outside area seemed unkept with weeds overgrowing in the flower beds. The building itself needs massive repairs.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed in the entire place smell awful. The rooms were definitely not up to code the bedroom doors don’t have locks on them. You have to kick the doors open to even open them. If you shut them you have no privacy whatsoever no working elevators. It literally was like being in the ghetto.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There are no generators for when the power went out. Also, there are no exit floodlights in the hallways for the stairs for people to use. All elevators went down before the power even went out and I watched an elderly couple at the desk checking in they had to walk up several flights of stairs. They were offered no assistance or help. They were just pretty much told it is what it is The place smell like dog and feces. Absolutely one of the worst hotels I have ever been in.

Horrible Stay at La Quinta by Wyndham Jacksonville - Avoid at All Costs Rating: 1/5 I recently stayed at La Quinta by Wyndham in Jacksonville, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Issues: 1. Facility Condition: The entire hotel was in terrible shape. The room doors were dry-rotted, and the hotel had a pervasive smell of mildew and sourness that was unbearable. It was clear the hotel had significant water damage throughout the facility. 2. Rugs and Carpets: The rugs throughout the hotel appeared to have water damage, adding to the overall discomfort and unpleasantness of the stay. 3. Air Conditioning and Appliances: The air conditioning in the lobby area wasn’t functioning, and many of the appliances were down, further contributing to an already uncomfortable environment. 4. Security Concerns: There was an arrest in the middle of the night due to commotion at the facility. 5. Elevator and Stairway Conditions: While the elevators were functioning, the interiors were severely damaged, and the stairs were discolored and rotted, adding to the overall sense of neglect. 6. Impact on the Wyndham Brand: This facility desperately needs to be upgraded. It reflects poorly on the Wyndham brand, especially when neighboring hotels on the same street have all been updated and maintained to a much higher standard. Overall Experience: I was extremely disappointed, pictures Poorly reflect this hotel.

Unfortunately this location was not in the best of conditions. There was a smell throughout the entire property. The carpet was stained in the hallways, stairways and room. The wallpaper is peeling off of the walls. There was mold in our shower and quite a few bugs including German roaches in our room. Upon arrival the lady that greeted us was extremely sweet and gave us extra towels right away after recognizing that we have 4 people. Will not be staying here again based on the hotel conditions.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The facility itself could use a lot of love and updating especially the flooring and walls. The carpet was very stained and smelled like vomit. The electronic security on the door did not work and you could push through the door if the deadbolt wasn’t on. The room phone also wouldn’t call the front desk. I would not recommend staying here unless you don’t care about cleanliness and just need a place to crash.

The staff were great, the hallway carpeting was disgusting. Room carpet was ok to the eye, room was clean just old. TV cable was out which was upsetting. Elevators really need to be repaired , rusty doors and filthy inside. I wouldn't say here again. I checked out after one night gave up my second night ,non refundable.

The staff was nice. The property could use an upgrade, a deep cleaning of the carpets(looked Iike the original carpet) not very appealing. Husband saw a few cockroches on table and desk area. Stayed 1 night.
