"We had the most wonderful experience at 8 Rooms House. It is reasonably well located and is a few stops from Konak on the metro. And is at 10 minute walk from the Metro. Our host, Neslihan, was super gracious and welcoming to us. The place was done up impeccably and was a great experience. Would highly recommend anyone visiting Izmir to stay here."

"Absolutely loved the Hot thermal waters. That is why I booked this hotel. They have 9 pools with temperatures ranging from 34 to 38 degrees Celsius. There is one big pool outside with fairly warm water and 8 pools indoors. Pools are open from 07:00 to 19:00 hours daily. Only thing was not happy with was the early closing for the pools. They could at least till 21:00 hours as I usually want to immerse myself before bed after a day of sight seeing and shopping! Spent a week there and it is walking...

Spa and thermal water facilities were not at the same level of quality or cleanliness (was truly disappointed, and ended up not using the spa, pool etc. even though my main reason for picking this hotel over others was the onsite thermal pool). "Super quiet, instant room temperature adjustment, wonderful beds, remarkable service, great breakfast, lots of room amenities. We did not want to leave. This is what we really look in a hotel for. We do not care about the view. The question, do you want a view above everything else you would have to stay somewhere else. The hotel is also great for meditation."

"Great little gem of a hotel right outside Narlidere. Amazing breakfast, kind employees, and beautiful surroundings. A few things can be improved but nothing significant. For example, a trash can should be added to rooms. Also the location of the light switch outside the bathroom is a little tricky. Finally all the faucet hot/cold directions were wrong. However none of these were significant issues. So, five star overall!"

A great base for exploring Izmir.

"Booked by low price, central location and description, so we were very pleasantly impressed by the efficient welcome and check-in on arrival, mid-afternoon, and to find impeccably clean, neat rooms. We enjoyed our cup of tea with the kettle provided, and the minibar offerings were very good (even if not used!) and noted the restaurant offered orders if required. The optional buffet breakfast gave us an excellent choice. However, it was a nice walk to the Kordon and Alsancak dining areas, very close to the tramway, so we enjoyed our 24 hours sight-seeing in Izmir thoroughly. Only slight drawback is it is in a very quiet area at night, being in a busy shops area by day. Of course, parking in Izmir is an issue, but Reception were very helpful directing us to safe paid parking. Giving friends the hotel name!"
