Staff was wonderful, very friendly but the property needs some TLC and it is not soundproof at all. We had a room on level 1 near reception and we could hear everything when guests arrived, talking etc. there was also noise coming from the room above but this is because there are no carpets on the floor. Shower head needed repair and the over head shower did not work. There was also issues with cleanliness of the rooms - they were not cleaned to a high standard. Breakfast was ok but we felt it had very little to offer and a few days we didn’t bother to attend. Location was ok.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in January. It was a very nice hotel for the price. It is close to the Galata Tower where there was lots of fun shops and places to eat. It is also in close proximity to the trains. The staff were very nice and always willing to help when we had questions. We had breakfast on the rooftop restaurant every morning and often finished our days up there enjoying some of the amazing cocktails made by the bartender, Huso. We talked to Huso on our first night in and he provided us with many recommendations for things to do during our visit. We really have him to thank for making the trip as amazing as it was. We are planning to come back to Istanbul and stay at this hotel again!

Nice cozy hotel, conveniently located - walking distance to Galata, Taksim and the Bosphorus. The staff was wonderful and the restaurant terrace had a great view whether for breakfast or supper. The rooms were pretty spacious, ideal for families with kids.

Excellent little gem of a hotel - highly recommend
Dont be put off by the overall rating. This hotel is a little gem, rooms as featured and clean very comfortable and stylish. Take the hotel tel number with you and get your driver to call ahead as its not easy to find, the staff will help your driver with directions. Excellent roof terrace for the evenings after sightseeing. Breakfast excellent - book it you wont regret it.

Ideal stay
Enjoyed a five night stay with the hotel nicely situated just away from the crowds. Short walk to the attractions in Galata and nightlife in Karakoy which has a mixture of cafe, bars and restaurants to suit all. Service in hotel was warm and welcoming with a smart roof top bar. Staff were helpful and always on hand - barman has plenty of suggestions and top tips to get around plus mixed a good cocktail. Room was spacious and comfortable but coffee/milk were extra. Breakfast was extensive appears to cater for all needs. Would return if visiting again
