This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel and everything was great! Room was spacious for 3 adults and lots of luggage. Breakfast was the same daily which was ok. Easy to get around but prepared to walk uphill and downhill as this hotel is located 6 mins away from the tram station. Shower in our hotel room could use some extra clean to get rid of the mold in the tile.

For the cost, this hotel was very nice. It was about a 10 min walk to the Blue Mosque and about 15 to Hagia Sophia. There were numerous small restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. Our room had a small problem with odours from the washroom and the shower didn't drain very well. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable. Our aiport transfer had trouble getting to the hotel to drop us off due to how narrow the streets are around the hotel.

This location is fantastic for anyone looking for walkable convenience. It’s so easy to get around, with plenty of great spots just a short stroll away. The dining options are particularly impressive—there’s a variety of restaurants to choose from, and every meal we tried was delicious. Overall, it’s a great place to stay or visit if you enjoy exploring on foot and having excellent food options close by. The only minor problem was the prayers at 6 am we are not used to it but to be honest it was not a big deal.

The 4* are for the hotel itself , staff, room is clean and it has everything that should be there although its a small hotel . Location is so close to the bazar yet to reach the hotel is not that easy and the feeling that you get from the area that is not very safe .

I don’t like the location! It is quiet which was great but felt unsafe …. I feel safe in Istanbul but the area of the hotel has weird roads and buildings around but 2 blocks up is much better! Otherwise - beautiful hotel, clean, great breakfast, nice staff, room was amazing with a great bathroom! Truly beautiful facility inside! Outside … not so much!

At the rime of check out the Front desk guy was so rude. He made us waiting in the lobby to send someone to checkout our room and made sure we had the keycard in the room. Location is hard to find even the taxi drivers struggle to locate the place. Hidden in a very high altitude and bad neighborhood. Away form public transportation.

Nice hotel good location. I remove a star because it’s on a very steep slope and could be complicated with kids. I remove another star because my family and i never saw the receptionists smiling or saying hi not even once. I think that in a very competitive tourisme market, these details are very important. The rest is good.

The hotel staff is exceptionally good Great breakfast New and super clean premises Kare Hotel, like the other hundreds of hotels in the Sultanahmet area is located on a narrow lane and quite difficult to walk up/down hill. Also, getting taxis is near impossible.

Central Hotel in Istanbul
Excellent hotel - had a Delux room, spacious, excellent soundproofing that thankfully blocks the call to prayer early in the morning, very clean with good sized bathroom and walk in shower. Excellent breakfast, with omelette on request. Arrived early to a forced airline change and offered to join breakfast, and phoned when room was ready. Can't be faulted. NOTE ON LOCATION- Need a taxi for arrival and departure if you have luggage. Steep cobbled roads and plenty of steps make it virtually impossible to haul luggage with wheels , even for a very short distance. Otherwise very central, everything within walking distance.

The hotel is excellent. The rooms are great - comfortable bed, quiet, great shower. It is very difficult for anyone with a handicap issue to walk anywhere. The hill is very steep and difficult to maneuver. There are no restaurants near the hotel and that requires walking up the steep hill.
