This time around we arrived via train and it was much more convenient to find the hotel using the water ferry to the Casino stop. Highly recommend staying here. "

"Very nice stay in a gorgeous room, well stocked bathroom, with all amenities. Location is great for all of the sights you come to Venice for, though you do have to go a little further out to find good restaurants. Daily cleaning and mini-bar stocking was great. Could have done with a larger bin for rubbish within the room. The only friction really was trying to figure out the check-in process if arriving outside of hours (8am-4pm). "The room provided plenty of space to move around and was very comfortable. We even had a balcony. The location was walking distance to all major attractions. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We had continental breakfast delivered every morning and it was included. I would definitely recommend Al Portico Guest house for your stay in Venice. "
