The hot water only worked for 1 of the 3 nights. We complained and once it was "fixed". It only worked once. Outside of that, breakfast was simple and service was good. It has a nice view of the pool and located in a central location

Not a great experience. No hot or even warm water. We complained and were told that it was normal. We asked other guests and they had hot water to shower. This would have been tolerable for me, but we had young children that cried as they had to shower in cold water. This would be expected in the amazon, but not in a 4 star hotel in the city. To make matters worst, I booked a suite 6 months ago through expedia and paid for it. Upon arrival, it was not available and I was downgraded. I had to pay for the downgraded room again with my credit card and get reimbursed in soles for my original booking.

Hotel prioritizes the club on the 4th level over the hotel. Parties go on till 3 am, sound and bass rumbles are heard from 3rd floor suites

Bad experience at check in but hotel is beautiful. Room views and service is top notch! Only bad experience was at check in. When booked with expedia 2 adults and 2 childs, site said we could have a roll out bed free of charge. At check in the lady said that it is not free, and it is not offered free by any of their partners like expedia. I did not want to argue with the girl because, I was tired after a long day at the amazon, so I paid the additional $. Next morning I checked expedia again and found the same room with the extra bed free of charge. I went back to the front desk (different lady) who told me that she would check with the manager, and showed them the expedia note (FOC), and they refund me. I hated the check in because of the lady comments, she could have said that she would check with her manager, but not liying that any of their partners offered it for free. All the other employees were amazing, very kind and professional, they were so nice that we decided to eat all our meals at the hotel. Food was great! Thanks to all the employees, we will be back!
