"Beautiful location, nice little refurbished hotel with lovely little rooms. Food was brilliant, love the little combined cafe/bar idea where you can mix cocktails with cake. Bed was a bit small but for the price, our stay was amazing."

"Fantastic stay at the Loch Fyne. The hotel was really clean and the facilities were well kept with stunning decor. We enjoyed the outdoor spa facility which was new and very clean. Ee brought our dog who was treated very well. Staff is really nice. We also dined at the restaurant and the dinner was a proper fine dining experience with dishes perfectly executed. Well done Chef! Among the waiters the blond slim pretty girl stood out for kindness and professionality. I did not take her name but I hope this is passed to management as her service was exceptional. "

"Well maintained room with views of the river Clyde just a few metres away. The only consideration would be that the sides of the bath may prove too high for older or less mobile guests. All food and drink seemed well enjoyed by everyone we spoke to. This proved a very enjoyable break."

"Stopped off here overnight on my way along the WHW for the night. I arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time so decided to pop in for a drink, there’s no ‘public bar’ where you can walk in and order a beer so had to be shown through to the bar which operates (a very slow) table service. I only had the one pint and got up and left after sitting with an empty glass for 15 minutes or so. £6.25 ‘house’ lager is the cheapest pint but a bit steep however there was a decent local selection of drinks. The woman on the desk was quite friendly and gave me a table next to the bar (didn’t help get a drink any quicker) oddly she turned up in the breakfast room the next morning with what appeared to be pyjamas and a shower cap on so maybe she lives there. Food menu was your average run of the mill stuff. A bit overpriced in my opinion and although I never ate at lunch, the menu was the same in the evening. I had a burger which was nothing special for the price and again drink service was slow at best so I never hung about long which is a shame as the bar area is quite a nice space other than the cobwebs and jumble sale items all over the place. Upon checking in, I was allocate a room which was in a cottage further up the room from the main building. Looked ideal from the outside although felt like a trek to get to it after a long day walking. The room itself was decent with no complaints on the facilities, they’ve missed a trick not putting bath in with a shower above it though."
