"It was a great experience. Thoroughly enjoyable. Location, facilities, proximity to Aviemore town centre. Chalet is a bit tired looking internally. It was clean but someone needs to look up and remove cobwebs and dust on light fittings etc. Kitchen really well stocked."

"Negatives: There was an overwhelming damp/off smell when we first entered the apartment which I later discovered came from the vacuum cleaner when I used it. The bathroom light and hot water tap didn't work and the duvet for the sofa bed had a yellow stain on it. The "free kids club" is a run down cabin in which you pay £1 per game of pool (don't expect chalk). There are no plug sockets beside the bedroom mirror/dressing table. The bar area was always empty. Positives: The area is fantastic....

"The buffet breakfast is great, and there is lots of room. The family room we stayed in had two separate rooms and a great view of the water and even the suspension bridge. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel is that it had no interior staircases--only fire exits, which I presume end up in a flowerbed or something. With only two elevators, once or twice it was crowded, and since the hotel has only 5 floors some usable stairs would be very nice. (Great staff as well.)"
