"A lovely hotel, full of character in the heart of Tewkesbury. The room was very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. I was impressed at how bottled water and tea bags etc were topped up everyday (not something that happens in every hotel in my experience). The staff were very friendly, helpful and obliging, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had a good selection of dishes for dinner. The hotel is close to the bus stop for Cheltenham and Gloucester. "

"We have stayed at the Limes 3 times over the last 18 months for a week at a time. The Owner (Dave) and his son (Dan) are fabulous people. We also joined the Limes for the New Years Eve party. It was such fun to see families with little ones enjoying the celebrations. Many activities for all. As with most UK hotels there is a kettle, cups, tea and milk on the ready. There is a warm and welcoming family atomosphere at the Limes! "

"Stayed for one night en route. Comfortable and clean. Furnishings in the room adequate. Good, hot shower. It was bitterly cold and the duvet and pillows were a bit thin and “tired” so we were a little cool. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Advice from a previous guest to have a room at the back of the property was useful as it was quiet. "

"The hosts were friendly and welcoming in this conveniently located guest house. The town centre was only about a 10 minute walk away so we were able to leave the car in their (free) car park and visit the sights. Our room was well equipped, clean, nicely presented and very comfortable. The choice of breakfast was very good and of good quality. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Place was clean inside shared bathroom, kitchen and dining. My room did not have a mirror so it was very inconvenient make sure you request a room that has mirror. Overall inside was very comfortable. To be honest outside was not the best area but once you are in the house it’s very comfortable. It was better than other places I rented for the money.There’s also a convenient store next to house which I found great since I didn’t rent a car. Very busy street and lots of stores to grab a bite. "Kateshill is an absolute gem and manager Sam made our recent stay a joy. She makes you feel like you are home from home. The full English breakfasts are incredible. The bedrooms are huge. Everything about our stay was perfect and I would return in a heartbeat. The grounds are beautiful and immaculate. I recommend highly. "

"The room and the wi fi was ok but the whole place is dirty.I’m not satisfied with the amount I paid for this room, no good services, no friendly environment, there is only one bathroom for 6 rooms which was so dirty and when I contacted the customer service they said it’s a shared house and they said they have a cleaning scheduled on Friday which was only emptying the bin in the kitchen. No recommended to women at all "

Price was not worth the level of room provided when compared to competitors. Range of TV was also not great - unablw to properly cast die to Accor system and not a full range of freeview channels available.
