"Fantastic for the price. Went for a wedding in a nearby hotel so was looking for a place to lay the head. The rooms were on the smaller side but still plenty of room to relax and change. Bed was very comfy and everything was well presented. TV in the rooms with tea coffee facility and a hair dryer. Even a couple of wee chocolate mints and a bottle of fresh water. I would have no issues staying again!"

"Staff looked fed up. Checkin was slow and when I said was to attend funeral, no basic condolences given. Other staff in restaurant not really on the ball. I tried to get attention to buy another bottle of wine but gave up after staff walked past twice. Breakfast staff excellent and food also excellent. Promote your breakfast staff to train and supervise other staff and you will get 5 stars. Hotel is clean and comfortable but rooms too hot and no thermostat which is strange. Overall 3 stars plus."

"This was a charming historic hotel in the center of Clones, walking-distance to everything the town has to offer. We were visiting see where some of our family ancestry came from, and we enjoyed the Clones walking-tour brochure that we were given upon check-in. "Its an old country house, with lots of character and interesting antiques and wall hangings. The rooms are of course old, and the furniture is to say the least well used, as are the fixtures and fittings in the rooms and bathroom. Nothing was not working, so functionally it was well maintained. For us, the carpet, curtains and fittings would be improved by a thorough cleaning, but that is not to say it was dirty.
