"Fairly modern city centre hotel. We opted for a superior room which was spacious with kitchenette and sitting area. Bathroom had walk in shower. Bed was comfy. Breakfast buffet was decent but you have to book a time when they are busy as the dining area is small. Ate dinner there too but only average. "Location convenient but late night concert outdoors across the street til 1:30 am made sleep impossible. Excellent breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. But property needs maintenance. TV in room did not work, one bedside lamp did not work, AC not effective. Pool deck had broken boards."

"The staff helped us with information about the hop on hop off bus location. The staff made our reservations for the Madero dinner and tango show. Were pick up and dropped off in front of the hotel. After all we are 78 years old ladies traveling alone. Great experience.The location is 1 block from the mall. Taxis were very inexpensive. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Maybe 4 star service elsewhere, but for Montevideo this is definitely the best hotel choice in my opinion. Very charming hotel. Super clean and aesthetically pleasing and walkable to the beach and other desirable restaurants and bars. We stayed three nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Very beautiful and peaceful. "
