"Very nice Riad in excellent condition and well located! The only 2 complaints were that the food was overpriced for the amount of food given AND they apparently do NOT work with the reservations made via hotels.com. We had reserved a room for 7 only to find out the largest available was for 4. However, the friendly owner finally came and was very accommodating, making it work for our family to comfortably fit into one of the rooms."

"Dar Atlas is slightly of the main road up the hill and in the woods. A short trek but quiet and away from some of the hustle of Imlil. Jamal and his family are wonderful. The breakfast was tasty and filling. The shower was nice and warm to help with the chilly nights. Great view of the mountains. "

"The stay at Lachens was sort of like a dream. The view from the balcony overlooking the mountains is so pretty. We are city folks so for us it was a couple of days to be able to dis connect and be in tune with the nature. Imlil is a serious trekking town but we are not hard core trekkers. So lachen arranged a guide with a mule to take us around the villages and surroundings which became the high light of our trip! We would have never done that much walking on our own but the guide even though...

"This is not a hotel as it serves as an excellent base for Toubkal mountain climbers and indeed other trekkers. There are rooms which are dorms and although the other rooms are clean it does not feel like a hotel much more like a hostel. Having said that, Rashid is a fab guy and only wants the best for you and we met some really interesting people especially other Moroccans on holiday and other nationalities there for trekking and climbing. "The riad is located a few minuets walk from the road on the side of a hill with spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains. The owner and staff are very knowledgable and helpful. The mountain guide they arranged for me was very good. The building is very basic and was rather cold when I stayed. However, it was spotlessly clean. For a stay in an authentic mountain village for those who don't need home comforts, this is a great place."

"L'endroit est fantastique. Les hôtes sont chaleureux et tellement attentionnés. La vue est spectaculaire. Nous avions deux galeries pour profiter de l'extérieur. Le lit est propre, très grand et confortable. Nous avons bien mangé. L'ambiance du souper, avec le feu de bois et les chandelles, est très féérique. Les déjeuners sont complets. Le seul petit soucis était que la douche avait du mal à s'égoutter. Nous avons été si charmés que souhaitons y retourner. bientôt. "
