"The good bits: lovely wooded site; whole place was like a giant log cabin!; friendly, welcoming and helpful staff; cosy room with everything needed for an overnight stay. The not so good bits: dated bathroom; weird uneven floor in room; tired bed; noisy at certain times as close to exit door to the leisure and spa facilities - constant banging. I didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food or restaurant service. "

"Very helpful young man checked us in & gave us early access to our rooms. The reception area is pleasant as is the Springs Bar. Rooms are adequate & generally clean but, as is common in so many hotel room the hoover does not clean the carpet edges well. Comfortable bed but terrible pillows & the duvet is too narrow. Yet to try the restaurant as there are many excellent restaurants nearby ( Vivido was really good)"

"Lovely and spotless in a great location for arena and all the shops would definatly stay again only down side is no facilities in room for tea and coffee had to go down to reception and use machine would be better use in rooms bit other than that had a great stay and will ne back at some point soon staff we're all very nice friendly and welcoming thanks again maggoe "

"Only a 1 night business trip, so no time to make full use of the facilities. The staff however were excellent, especially Robin who was on reception when I arrived late in the evening to check in. My reservation had not been properly added to the system and so she was unable to check me in. We quickly established that I should have been booked in and although it took nearly 30 mins to resolve she ensured I was looked after, arranged a drink from the bar and ensured the issue was resolved. "A great hotel in the centre of Leeds. We had an executive room overlooking city square. There was a full bathroom with a great shower and hairdryer. Plenty of wardrobe space with hangers. Please note that the bar operates on a cashless basis."
