"This is a nice hotel that is close to the main square without being too close. The free parking is only free at night and on holidays. It doesn’t have an elevator and the bathroom in our room was in a separate area from the toilet. The staff person was friendly but it was inconvenient to have to wait until 6pm to check in. The bed was comfortable, though, the room was clean and it had a small fridge."

"The location of the property is lovely and the rooms though small, are nicely decorated with a great bed. A coffee machine and milk.wpuld be a nice touch over the instant coffee, and the room had quite a musty odor, but staff were helpful ans kind"

"Lovely hotel in high street . Did the job for what we needed . Very comfortable family room and lovely shower . The room was clean and the check-in was really efficient . Very lovely couple running it, the service was excellent and they couldn’t have been more helpful.They both tried their very best to make us feel comfortable. Thank you again. Highly recommend !! "

"This was our first stay and we really enjoyed it. We were a family of 3 and had a double and pullout / sofa bed. The air conditioning was very effective and the room very quiet. The swimming pool facilities are fantastic and a real highlight of a stay. We'd have appreciated longer hours for our kid to be able to use the indoor pool (perhaps lunchtime when the pool is a lot emptier). I'd suggest relaxing the hours in off-season also. "Because of our late train arrival the reception desk was closed. We had informed the property two days prior by email but it was not acknowledged. We were fortunately met by a representative who took us to our room. Lovely room but a/c didn’t work, fans only. :("

"This converted 18th-century home was the perfect stay for my family. Rooms were beautiful and clean, and the bathroom was a good size. Our room was on the 2nd level, which made me concerned about the street noise, but the area was so quiet and peaceful we slept with ease. We will be back to stay the next time we are in Rocheforte. "The Hotel Cleunes D'Oleron is a great hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and well equipped. The pool is fabulous and the location is excellent. The staff dealt very very well with COVID restrictions to allow breakfast (which was lovely) to go ahead as normal. Excellent hotel"
