"Kind staff, phenomenal location, and beautiful room! It’s located a short walk away from main shopping streets as well as Nara Park. It did not bother me however it’s worth mentioning that there are multiple bathrooms to share between the guests and the walls are very thin so sounds other make can be heard easily. However, when next in Nara, I will certainly stay here again!"

"This is the best Hostel to book on any budget. Since it is also a cafe the interior is upper nice and modern looking. As in the name, the interior is all made of wood and has that amazing wood smell that makes you feel so welcomed and at peace. "Great place to stay, very close to Kintetsu-Nara train station. Lots of places nearby to eat nearby. A short walk to the park. Breakfast and coffee in the morning was very nice. Our only negative point, our room (201) did smell of smoke quite strongly. We believe it was above the smoking room downstairs. Overall a great stay and would recommend highly."

"The place was very cute and clean. They provided free water, juice and alcohol along with some snacks. This place is setup like a dorm where there is a bathroom to share and a couple showers. The only complaint the group and I had was that there is no air conditioning in the bathrooms so it is very hot. Overall the place was very good for groups of friends."

"Located in alley to the right of the pharmacy. Myself and several guests had trouble locating it. No staff on site when I arrived, wasn’t really an issue though as they left clear instructions. No issues, this place is great. Clean, quiet, everything appeared to be in good shape as far as fixtures etc, good location, etc. I would stay here again. "

"Quite some walk from the train station; I'd say 10 mins at least. Check in is at the cafe on the ground floor, so you have to find a staff there. Female dorm was very clean, with small living area and sinks and shower booths. Shared kitchen is upstairs. No water dispenser. :( And no vending machines, so I nearly died of thirst when water ran out. Room was very warm even though the weather was chilly, think no ventilation and the windows were not opened. In terms of vibes, the dorm was not very...

"The hotel is very small and in a semi-rural area of Kyoto. However there is a 7-eleven situated literally across the road from it, making it a little bit more convenient. The staff and service were excellent. The free amenities were excellent. The room had a washing machine, drying machine, stove, microwave and kettle. Everything you need for a trip. Overall 5 stars.
