The Langvatan Guesthouse was the nicest stay so far during our past 8 days in Iceland. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The common dining area was very cozy and warm. The washrooms were spacious and clean. The rooms were simple and small, but that's all you really need at night. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! So many options to choose from. They also offered dinner, if we hadn't eaten dinner already, we would've had dinner here as well. Overall,100/10 would recommend & would stay again.

Good location and price, friendly welcome, good breakfast, but our room was the smallest we stayed in on our 2-week trip, and that was with only 2 of us in a triple.

Lovely by the lake
I enjoyed my stay, comfy bed, good breakfast. Nice to have the communal room downstairs when you're in a small single room. Got woken at 5am by other guests making noise. Please could you have a sign about quiet time between certain hours, plus a mirror in the little single room.

This was a great place to stay in a beautiful area and was close to Husavik for whale watching and other activities. Highly recommended! The staff were very friendly and helpful as well!

This is literally my favorite place I stayed during my time in Iceland. I loved everything about it. The staff were so sweet and nice. The room and common area were great as well. It was very peaceful there and it’s right in between two awesome towns!

Lovely renovated farm house
Renovated farm house built in 1930, with a lot of charachter. Location is very close to Ring Road (road 1) in beautiful surroundings. Comfortable beds, clean and warm rooms. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Host was very welcoming.

Excellent place to stay with a highly hospitable and friendly host. The guest house is located on a private estate with a lake right in front. It’s conveniently located just off the highway to Husavik and is easily accessible. The host kindly engaged us in conversations about the area, Icelandic language and weather patterns in the locality. The breakfast spread was pretty sumptuous and we loved our stay here. Will highly recommend this place to others.

Familiäre schöne Unterkunft mit super Dinner
Am Rande eines kleinen Sees etwa 20 Fahrminuten von Myvatn steht die famliäre Vierzimmer-Unterkunft. Sehr familiär und zugewandter Empfang, gemütliche kleine Zimmer. Das Beste aber war das hervorragende Essen, sowohl Morgens als auch Abends uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Klasse Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en super schoon en ontbijt is ook goed en omgeving is heel erg mooi en alleen vind ik wel jammer dat buiten veel te veel kleine vliegers en misschien is met seizoen te maken.
