"My partner and me had a fantastic holiday at the Steigenberger. We were amazed by how well the property is maintained. We enjoyed daily strolls through the resort, enjoying the gardens, the green surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere. Eventhough the hotel is close to the airport, you will not notice that during your stay. We heard no noice from planes at all. Once we arrived at the property we were amazed by the impressive design and the welcoming atmosphere. The reception welcomed us and have been super friendly and helpful. We were accompanied to our suite - which was our first (and only) disappointment. We booked a superior suite with sea view. However, the suite we were brought to was on the side of the property on the 2nd floor (in Germany we would call it the 1st floor). We couldn't actually see the sea. The bigger problem was the next door construction works that happened day and night. We've spoken to reception and thankfully were moved the next day. A beautiful suite on the 5th floor in the center of the property. Absolutely stunning views. Suite is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The food of the buffet restaurant is well above average and we loved eating there. The speciality restaurants had great food, great service and a great atmosphere. We noticed that the alcoholic beverages included are not that great - are they watered down? Overall we had an absolute amazing time! All employees did an outstanding job and we appreciate all their dedication!"

"So far as the hotel is concerned I do not have a single complaint about. The rooms and public areas were clean and well tended, the gardens are a delight. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and bent over backwards to provide excellent service. A special shout out to Romel in Yades - though there were many others whose names I did not get; he served us every breakfast and lunch. We also had massages in the Spa which were excellent. The only area of concern was in respect of the beauty salon, we were offered and accepted on my part 2 x facials and 2 x manicure my partner also had a 2 x pedicure. He was reasonably happy with his pedicure, but the manicure and facial fell well short of what I would expect. Facial - no cleanse at start just 3 consecutive masks; each wiped off which a damp sponge not properly cleansed and lastly a lick of moisturiser whole time 23 minutes- usual time one hour, Manicure no finger soak no hand massage, poor filing of the nails used a sawing motions when it should be one way rough and hurried treatment of cuticle, but worst of all the clippers etc were not sterilised between customers. Total time 17 minutes usual time one hour. As the deal included two I went back to see if that had been a bad day - but know just even quicker and new clear nail polish was applied over old instead of removing it. I doubt any of the staff are professionally trained."
