"THE " Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge " was just such a refreshing place to stay at minimal cost. The staff at reception "LESLIE AND PAGE were so helpful and refreshingly honest in their attitude towards customers and their respective jobs. The cleaning and room preparation was excellent and the cleaning staff were most obliging in providing extra service if there was a requirement.. such as sugar, tea, milk, blankets etc. Kudos to the groundsmen for their efforts to keep all clean and tidy."

"Beautiful views! Glamping tents were so spacious and the kitchenette was so well appointed. Michelle was very welcoming and even built a fire for roasting marshmallows. A great alternative choice for staying near Alice Springs. Only 10 minutes from town. We stayed in July, which was pretty cold in the mornings though we did sleep warm with comforters and electric blankets. "Pleasant hotel. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Nice pool. Everywhere in the hotel was quiet as it was their low season. Restaurant food for breakfast and evening meal was mixed standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were advised not to wander around Alice Springs in the evening. "
