"We loved this property location. It is VERY safe and convenient for a relaxing vacation. We traveled with another couple, who booked a different room on the property and had included the beach club ($30/person) and daily maid service, for the same price. We did not realize that was an option when booking so would suggest reaching out about that. "

"Love the location of this condo. The pool is nice and it is only about 10 -15 mins walk to the beach. Also, there is a sidewalk so you are not walking on the main road with cars and trucks and motorbikes. There is a small grocery store located at the front of the condo and it has everything including meat and vegetables and fruits. The only thing I would fault this place is the mattress. We rented unit 9 and we were basically sleeping on boxspring. There is no pillow top on the mattress and we...

"Merary at Casa Nahua was amazing. Right when my friend and I checked she was so friendly and understood that we wanted to do excursions. Merary set us up with awesome jam packed fun trips that were unforgettable. Merary was also so friendly, kind, sweet and professional and made us feel at home. "The Bougainvillea condos were safely located on the Reserva Conchal resort where we enjoyed many resort amenities, such as the beach club, Neenda restaurant, and Playa Conchal beach. The condo was clean and well-maintained with air conditioning (very important) and laundry facilities in the condo (much appreciated). The internal shuttle to the beach club was easy to call for and very efficient. Bring money in small bills (dollars ok) as you'll want to be giving some cash tips for the services....

"What a fabulous brand new property with a lovely pool and a very comfortable and well equipped apartment. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the property was very quiet with some lovely birds around. It's on the edge of the town with a 15 minute walk to the beach."

"Nice gated place. Two apartments below, two above. We didn’t hear our neighbors, which was nice. Really close to the beach but you need to follow forest paths to get there faster. Lots of monkeys and iguanas around. Playa Hermosa is a much quieter beach town than many others, and we like it that way. The bigger hotel Villa de Sueno on the corner has good (though overpriced) food and music several nights a week. "

The grounds were very well kept and we enjoyed our sunset strolls on the beach. Diamanté Adventure Park (the Animal Sanctuary) right next door is recommended - take the free shuttle bus. Other than Diamante, there's nothing around the resort so I suggest renting a car if you want to explore beyond the immediate area. "

"Seven family members stayed at the RIU Palace Guanacaste. Three of us had birthdays and the rooms were updated and decorated. We had a Junior suite that was had alcohol dispensers, a fridge with drinks, a mini jacuzzi and king bed with a lovely veranda overlooking the pool and partial view of the ocean. Overall the room was clean and well kept. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing. The shows were great, top shelf liquor and multiple restaurants. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the buffet restaurant the most-great selection of food, fruits and drinks. This was our first time at a RIU resort and we all absolutely loved it. We were able to do some side tours for horseback riding, ziplining, white water rafting , water tubing and thermal pool. We also visited Tamarindo and some of the surrounding areas had had amazing seafood in Tamarindo. Overall 10/10-best birthday ever. Thank you RIU"

"We got an upstairs unit with mini-kitchen and fridge. It was nice to be above the bottom floor pool level since the lower floor rooms' patio opens right up to the pool area. Hotel is conveniently located. All the tour group buses pickup/dropoff conveniently from this hotel. Unfortunately, the front gate to the driveway is always closed so you have to manually push the large gate open/close every time you come in out of the property. Hard to do if you are elderly in age. "

"We stayed at this property for a week and had a wonderful time as a family. Our kid enjoyed the pool, slides, and also was very fond of the staff at the Kids Club (Riu Land). Occidental Papagayo - Adults Only - All inclusive

"The property was very nice. The bed was comfortable and we had a very good view of the bay, which made our stay much better. If you wanted to do things on the bay, they suggested you to do so in the morning due to the wave in late morning. Food was okay, but some what limited since there were only 3 other locations and they could essentially be visited only once per stay. Other than that you had to eat at the buffet, which had limited selection. Overall, i would give this a rating of 3 stars. "
