"Escaped to Anantasila for a mid week break, and as always, had a great time. Service, room, staff and quality of food as good as ever. We have been here with our dog Leo many times from Bangkok, and the staff always greet us all by name and warmly. Stayed in a one bedroom suite in the annex building, which we love as it’s the dog friendly building and always quiet. Lots of neighborhood restaurants in walking distance, best beach in Hua Hin. "

"Golf excellent 2X18 holes and quite busy BUT none of the golfers stayed in the hotel. The hotel was run down. There was a large group of teenagers saying so it felt more like a youth hostel. The rooms are big but tired and furniture falling to bits. The bathroom was mouldy, the balcony was filthy and the chairs too, we asked for clean ones and they simply covered the chairs in towels.
