"This was definitely one of our favorite places to stay. Beautiful views, convenient location, amazing room with so much history. Let’s not forget the breakfast that was included was absolutely fantastic and beyond delicious. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to visit not only this beautiful state but this amazing hotel."

Beautifully situated in a perfectly maintained garden with views of Hobart and Mount Wellington, this cosy cottage is within walking distance of many sights and restaurants. "Excellent and frequent communication pre-stay. Warmly greeted upon arrival, shown around the facility before being led to glorious Garden Courtyard room on lower floor. Very spacious room with either side of the bed having direct access to bathroom facilities, robes, ironing facilities and tea making facilities behind the bed head panel. "Pauline was such a kind and gracious host to my friends and I. We loved talking with her over breakfast which she serves at Orana house. The house has a wonderful ambiance, with gardens and a view to match. I highly recommend anyone who wishes for a more unique and personal stay in Hobart. One day we'll be back Pauline 😊"

"Thank you for our lovely stay. We arrived quite early, having disembarked from a ship, and the staff were very helpful. Our room was made available a little earlier than the regulation time, and when we returned from a walk around the harbour, our bags were already in the room. Room afforded a wonderful view of the bay and harbour; the breakfast was excellent, and we really appreciated the hotel gym, which was well equipped, and free of TV screens or doof doof - bliss!"

"I am giving five star on everything however, I request for a room services on thursday, not sure they came in or not but the room was still the same. Can room serves review their work. I gave sign in the door, that they can come in for cleaning but nothing. However, else all was okay 👍 Cheers! "
