The hotel was in the middle of nowhere. The room and bed were comfortable. The soap dispenser had fallen from the wall n never returned. The breakfast was rather limited. Consequently, I would not stay here again.

Location is great if you want a quiet location away from the town activities. Excellent walking and jogging trail along the water front. I didn't realize it, but the facility is a search and rescue and training facility, with a 30 room hotel building on the property. Very nice common areas. There was a 30-kid camp occuring on site, so you have to time your breakfasts accordingly. Beautiful facility and matched our family's lifestyle well.

Hotellet i seg selv var top. Servicen mindre så. Ved innsjekk så personalet oss stå ved resepsjonen,og det ble sagt "Jeg kommer straks." Deretter stod vi der i 15 minutter uten å se snurten av noen. Jeg måtte rundt og lete etter noen som kunne sjekke oss inn. Det er greit at folk har mye å gjøre, men gi i det minste et estimat på hvor lenge folk må vente.

Ikke som forventet
En dårlig start på oppholdet var at det i beskrivelsen av overnattingsstedet på hotels.com ble opplyst om at det var kveldsmåltid tilgjengelig for en symbolsk sum (kr 10,-) noe som ifølge overnattingsstedet ikke stemte. Dette var mye av grunnen til at vi valgte RS Noatun, da vi tidligere har hatt gratis kveldsmåltid bl.a hos Hotell Skagen i Stavanger. Ved ankomst forsto vi fort at dette absolutt ikke var et hotell, snarere et motellignende opplegg best passende til leirskole. En dårlig start fortsatte ikke bedre ved at tilgangen til rommene var gjennom andre roms ‘’terrasse’’ som det kalles på hotels.com, en overbygd betonggang som absolutt ikke bød på terrassekos. Rommet var forholdsvis nytt, basic innredning med to senger satt sammen til en dobbel, en sofa som kunne brukes som enkelseng, og en nedfellbar metallseng på veggen. Vi var trøtte etter en lang reise, og nedturen over de negative tingene ble forsterket av at rommet som ble bestilt til 2 voksne og 2 barn, ikke var klargjort, hverken med sengetøy eller håndklær. Etter en tlf kom det noen for å ordne dette, hvorpå vi fant ut at madrassen i nedfellbar seng kun var en 4 cm overmadrass. Ble tilbudt å bytte rom til et klargjort for 4, på baksiden av bygningen, som vill fjernet det siste positive med stedet, utsikten over sjøen. Valgte å ikke bytte, og ha minsten i senga med oss.Ny madrass ble ordnet av en tredje ansatt der, men sengehesten var ikke trygg for 6-åring.Middels frokost, leirskolestemning, veldig upersonlig.
