"We liked our stay overall. We did receive 2 phone calls and an email asking us to cancel our stay because they were full. We didn’t see the email because our phone service doesn’t work well in foreign countries. So we showed up for our reservation and we were the only 3 people staying at the place. We were very confused about that. The place otherwise is very nice and could be a great venue for events too. I hope they do well. "The property was good. The only disappointment was there was no extra towels not enough toilet paper or any kind of shampoo and I booked it it said it was about 7 minutes from Copenhagen but it was 50km about 42 minutes. And it said breakfast included there was no breakfast. And no room service if you stay for 2 days "

"Lovely space, lovely place. Had some trouble finding it in the dark and were worried about missing check-in time (our fault for not having read the instructions carefully enough) but managed in the end. Unstable wifi but were prepared based on previous guest reviews. Excellent place to be if many want to plan a gathering. Would definitely stay there again. Thank-you!"

"Femhøj is not exactly place with great charm but the rooms are very clean, the bed and bathroom were excellent. Rather boring breakfast and low quality coffee. We also went to the restaurant nearby for a dinner. Rustic setting and classical dishes....not bad at all. "

"A decent hotel & great choice in Holbaek. It can get noisy if there is a function & there’s no soundproofing between floors- so ask for the top floor. A bit light on breakfast choices especially if you’re a vegan & they do allow smoking in the courtyard which does drift into the rooms. But overall a good choice."

"Jeg overnattede kun én nat hos Strandsegård Ferielejligheder. Men jeg synes det var et virkelig velholdt og hyggeligt sted. Rengøringen var perfekt. Kommunikationen med værterne var behagelig og effektiv. De havde 100% styr på at jeg kom med en cykel jeg gerne ville have låst inde. Kan absolut anbefales. "

Beautiful Hotel overlooking the city

"Lovely hotel with amazing helpful friendly staff. Special mention to Ida, who remembered my first name from last trip when checking in. Nice peaceful place to relax after work travel. All facilities on site, free parking and you can walk into the city centre in 5 minutes. Beautiful old building where there are some rooms and restaurant/bar area. Superb place to relax and unwind."

"Stunning setting for this castle on a moat. We were delighted with our large comfortable room in the castle up on the 2nd floor with a fabulous view across the grounds, gardens and moat. Dinner at the Michelin restaurant was beautifully presented and served, and breakfast was especially excellent and thoughtful.Staff were kind and helpful and always gracious. The gardens were delightful, even in the pouring rain. Wish we could have stayed longer."
