Great location
A good boutique style, walk up establishment. Room is clean and location is excellent, safe and a 5min walk to the start of Ancient Town. Love the spa next door that gives 50% discount for Square Villa stayer. I would stay again if I'm back.

The reception staff and owner could not have done more for us for our one night stay. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable with a fridge! I asking distance to the old town with lots of food options on the doorstep. Lovely additions was balcony overlooking the street which was lovely for evening beer and morning coffee! Will come again, and soon!

Of all the places we stayed on our 3 week holiday in Vietnam Square Villa was the absolute best. The staff were kind, helpful and by the end of our 4 night stay we felt like family. The hotel is located a 5 min walk from the main canal area in a lovely quiet street. It was so budget friendly for our Australian family of 4. I wish I could give this hotel 6 stars! Thank you Square Villa!

The staff, especially Oanh, are so lovely & helpful! They really want you to enjoy your stay and time in Hoi An and it’s surrounding areas. The hotel is located in a quiet area just a short walk (5 mins or so) from the old town. It’s such a little gem! The rooms are nice, clean & comfortable. The only downside is that there isn’t a lift for guests so if you struggle with steps I would suggest asking for a room on the lower floor levels. Just a 1 minute walk from the hotel is a good restaurant (Boi Com), so if the weather is poor or if you don’t want to head out, it’s a good option. Thank you Oanh for looking after me during my stay!

Clean room, great location , great breakfast and excellent hospitality! Thank you Hoa, Huong, Sang for great service! Special thanks to Sang. I asked her to recommend me a place to buy lychee. She arranged and personally went to collect and send to hotel on her Off day! And that was 5kg of lychee. I really appreciate that! Definitely Square Villa!

This little boutique hotel has everything we needed while vacationing in Hoi An. Owned and operated by a small family, we enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was a combination of either western or local vietnamese cuisine. Their banh mi is better than many other restaurants or street stalls. The staff is always helpful in booking/reserving transportation for us, answering our questions regarding site seeing excursions.

This a quaint hotel 5 minutes from the ancient town and night market. The staff was outstanding, accommodating and always checking on us to see if we needed anything. They helped us book motorbikes for our incredible journey to the Hai Van Pass and the Baha hills. They arranged or cab/shuttle to the airport. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and very comfortable. The location is close to everything and walkable. Hoi An was our favourite part of our 3 week journey through Vietnam.

Square Villa was by far the best boutique hotel we stayed at on our tour of Vietnam. Don't let the affordable price fool you, this hotel exceeded our expectations completely. The location is perfect - 5 minute walk to Old Town. The room was ideal - big, firm bed, comfy pillows, great bathroom and shower, fridge, ice cold air con - everything a traveller needs after a big day of exploring. The only minor downside was there is no elevator, but given they assist you carrying your luggage up and down the stairs, it wasn't much of an issue. The host (I never caught her name) was the most hospitable person we have come across. Breakfast every day was more than enough, and you get to select either western or local dishes the night before for the following mornings breakfast (I recommend the Hoi An bread (bahn mi, made locally), banana pancake and omelette) as well as traditional Vietnamese coffee. In fact, if you ever wanted some ideas on what to do, the host can recommend sights, book them for you, as well as suggest dining locations that aren't frequented by tourists but definitely provide the best local cuisine for an incredibly affordable price. Organising airport transfers was excellent too. If you are struggling to choose a place to stay in Hoi An given there are so many options, look no further (we were in your shoes too), this hotel won't let you down.

The room was clean and bright and located close enough to the main part of town to make for a very easy walk, but far enough away as to be very quiet at night. The AC is frigid, which is what you want in this part of the world! The staff were wonderful, and helped me make travel arrangements to my next stop and took care of all tour arrangements. They have a fleet of bicycles avaiable for free for guests to use. I will most definitely stay in this hotel again the next time I'm in Hoi An. Outstanding!

An amazing stay
We had an outstanding stay at Square Villa. It was easily one of our favourite accommodations during our trip to Vietnam. The owner was incredibly kind. After helping us with a very easy check-in on arrival, she congratulated us on our anniversary (which we noted we were celebrating in our reservation) and threw in a free breakfast for us. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated to give a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The location itself is also very close to Hoi An Ancient Town. On our second night, the owner gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room (not sure why...perhaps it was empty?). This room was lovely as well, and we felt very appreciative. Overall, we loved our stay at Square Villa and would stay there again without a doubt!

everything was perfect! the owner is so welcoming and helpful . arriving early we didn’t know if we could check in however promptly did so and upgraded us to a bigger room! (even showing us the rooms first to decide if we wanted the upgrade) the room itself was high quality, immaculate in cleanliness, styling and also suitable for taller aussie’s 170cm especially in the shower!! so no crouching down! the tv in the room was huge! and the air conditioner was high quality being electrolux (so no water drips or issues) location is such a short walk, and situated on a quite street, and you can borrow one of their bicycles to enjoy riding around; these were also in great condition. we opted for the breakfast, in which you select 2 foods and 2 drinks per person… between two of us , it was like a buffet and delicious!

This is such a perfect hotel that I found on Expedia. The room is just impeccable is term if cleanliness, and the room design and color is very artistically decorated. The bed is comfortable and the linen are cleaned! The location is perfect. I would definitely come back to this hotel on my next visit to Hoi An👍👍
