"We stayed at “Dovdevan” cabin for 2 nights (family of 4). The sleeping area for the kids was good with a comfortable mattress and a TV. We had a nice Jacuzzi (we didn’t use the sauna). However, the bathroom was uncomfortable with no stall , so all the bathroom area was full of water after each use. The area around the cabin/room is very lovely with plenty of trees ,shade and a playground. You can use the kibbutz’s pool in the summer. "

"Excellent relaxing place. Great location. The room is kept clean and equipped. There is a common yard with a pleasant pool and nice seating areas. A pleasant, quiet, intimate and small place. Einav is a wonderful host, he was very nice and helpful."

"The only positive about this place is the location, walking distance from the center of town and art/synagogue district. The negative: Can't access with car, the road is so tight and there is always car parked blocking access resulting in at least 2 block or more walk both uphill and downhill with heavy bags from our trip. Our stay was made even less pleasant by a water outage which limited our ability to shower and by stairs that were literally not safe to walk on. We contacted the owner on...

"We stayed one night with our 3 kids. the room was renovated and nice, could use a rug, since the floor was cold. There were beds for 5 and a sofa that opens for one more if needed. Plenty of bed linens as well. Cons- no dishes in the kitchenette, and the microwave had nowhere to plug it it. we had to move it and it was heavy. Great area with lots to do. nice country club style indoor pool ( Beit Eyal) with an extra nominal fee ( 30 Shekels per person)"

"The place looks amazing and designed in the spirit of old Safed. I really enjoyed getting to know the owners of the place, they were super kind and lovely! They have thought of anything you'll need during your vacation. The apartment is close to all the interesting places in Safed. I am so happy that I chose this apartment. I had a spectacular and magical experience, HIGHLY recommended! A truly 10/10 experience!"

"The price for the apartment is reasonable. The apartment is small, and does not supply enough towels. We did not receive any instructions for picking up the keys and arranging for our arrival. The manager did not reply to our email inquiries. There were ants in the room. The air conditioning unit does not have any labels, and the place was very hot. We did not enjoy our stay in this property."

"Amazing! An absolutely magnificent hotel, with ample places to relax and enjoy the outstanding views. Breakfast buffet was bountiful and fresh without being overwhelming. Staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Hands down the best atmosphere and service of any hotel I have visited in Israel. Spa was delightful with highly trained staff! Recommend!"

"Very beautiful hotel well meantian very good staff helpful & professional. The room was very nice with view to the pool & sea of Galilee. Breakfast was very good. Nice gym & pool. Nice garden leads to the sea shore. We recommend this hotel very much definitely will com again."

"We highly recommend a stay at the Scots Hotel for adults who appreciate beautiful antique-style historic buildings with beautifully maintained gardens and a quiet and prestigious atmosphere. The hotel is very well-maintained and immaculate. The staff was helpful and friendly. This hotel is not suited for kids and is designed for guests over 16 years old. We will be glad to stay at this hotel again."
