I have stayed here several times and it offers good value. The staff are helpful and courteous. The room was a little 'tired' with 1970s- style furnishings but that did not bother me. It was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the early checkin, but soap near the bathroom basin instead of only in the shower would have been helpful.

Mayfair on Cavell’s first impressions were a little bit underwhelming, with old world charm being straight out of the 70’s - however, it was warm, comfy, cosy and safe. The bathtub was lovely, the room spacious, the staff even put the heaters on for us as we had organised a later check in. Great value for money, centrally located - Cavell grew on us & we can’t wait to book again.
