Everything about this hotel is commendable! The property, the rooms, the facilities and amenities! Although the hotel is located outside of District 1, that was not a problem for me and my family as the transportation (Ride App) is very convenient and you also get to come home to a nice hotel after a long day in Central Saigon! I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Ho Chi Minh. Worth the stay!

I had a great stay here. The room was very clean and housekeeping came every day. The front desk staff were very helpful — they even delivered my food orders directly to my room. The room has both a washing machine and a dryer, which is super convenient. Overall, the experience was excellent. Compared to a hotel, the price is quite reasonable; and compared to an apartment, it’s even better because it includes daily housekeeping as well as laundry facilities. The room is new, spotless, and well-maintained — the bed sheets, quilt, and covers were all perfectly clean. Absolutely no issues with cleanliness. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay in a good area

My dad and I stayed at Oakwood in their 2 bedroom apartment. We were really happy with the hotel. It is in a great area with lots of restaurants close by, a large mall, and wonderful staff. The room was fully equipped with washer, dryer, dishwasher, and a full kitchen. I would definitely stay there next time i come to Vietnam.

I highly recommend Oackwood Residence Saigon. The staff at the front desk are wonderful. The rooms are well equipped and extremely clean. The restaurant on the ground floor is lovely. My only complaint is that the restaurant serves vegetarian dishes during the day but not in the evening - which seems very odd if you want a vegetarian meal in the evening. Luckily the Oakwood is near a good shopping mall that has a great pizza restaurant with lots of vegetarian options. Check in and Check out was really efficient - staff are lovely.

This is the best place to stay in Ho Chi Minh with a family. Honestly nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they fix any issue immediately. In a chaotic city, this hotel was a welcome reprieve. Nothing but good things to say about this hotel. District 7 might seem a long way from the tourist attractions of D1, but the Grab rides were easy to get and meant we slept well without the constant noise or honking of horns. We stayed 3 times over 3 weeks and I would definately stay again! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Ho Chi Minh.

This hotel is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Front desk receptionist were all helpful and nice. In-room service was great, and the room overall was SUPER clean. Not a single trace of dust for our room we stayed in. There is a mall that's about a 3 minute walk from the hotel and also includes a grocery store inside. This is definitely a "treat" when staying in Saigon considering the price, but definitely worth it if you're staying in District 7.

The area feels safe and has many dining options close by. It was spacious and well equipped, with nice city view. One of the bedrooms smelt like the bedlinen was not changed, thus my two daughters shared one room since there are 3 bedrooms for 4 of us. Every night, after returning to the hotel, we need to call to request for body wash and shampoo as these were always not replenished, even though the room was tidied. When I was checking out, front desk staff showed me a photo of 3 mugs on the dish rack and said one is missing, asked if I had taken it. My husband remembered it was on the dining table. This is rather annoying, the housekeeper should have checked carefully before accusing us of taking the mug. I was told to sign on a form to declare that I didn’t take the mug. What was most shocking was the taxi ride to airport which was booked by the hotel’s front desk. The night before we left, I spoke to the front desk staff to request for late check out as our flight was at 6.15pm, and the staff obliged to give us an extension to 1pm. At the same time, she asked if I’d like her to book a taxi for us. I asked and was told it will be charged by meter and the estimated charge would be 200,000 to 300,000. Even though it was higher than Grab, I accepted it as I thought it’d be more reliable. To my shock, we had to pay 3,990,000!!! The hotel must warn guests of potential rip off and recommend only reliable taxi drivers to guests, this is service I expect as your guest.
