Staff was great and friendly. Property conditions were good. Groceries at walking distance. Big room, only thing that needs attention by the property is bed mattress. It was a bit worn, it will need to be replaced. I will definitely stay at Tropical House in the future. I enjoyed my stay there.

This is the second time staying at Tropical House. I'm very happy with the friendliness of staff, the location is great for my needs. I don't have anything bad to say about the property. I would like to add a comment to another review. Someone complained about the hallway being dark and having to use cellphone light. Tropical House does have lighted hallways. We as guest can turn the switch on/off as we please. I will continue to book this property on my future visits.

Terrible smell in the room. There’s no lights in hallways at night time. Completely dark. I have to use my phone light to get to the elevator. Inside elevator, lights also very very low. I feel like I’m in a haunted house. I would NOT recommend this place.

The property is getting old and needs renovations. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay, this is it, but do not expect much from the facility. The staff is great, they do not speak English but are very friendly.
