The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice. Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed. Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally. "

Could do with slightly more foliage in between villa terraces for added privacy and the cleaner should sweep when changing towels etc..other than that the owners were extremely friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. Definitely need to rent a car. "

All meals are provided in a buffet style setting and provide a large amount of options. Cons: Everything other thing imaginable. "Perfect location with stunning views across Almyrida, we watched the sunset each evening from our balcony. Beaches & restaurants were just a few minutes walk away. Restaurants offered a delicious array of dishes, lots of fish and Cretan style salads. Lovely sandy beaches and shallow sea, perfect for a dip to cool off. We took a taxi to Chania Old Town one day which we would definitely recommend, you can also take the bus there from Almyrida. Just as feedback, the room could do with a full length mirror but everything else was perfect for our stay. We had a perfect, relaxing week and will definitely be back! "
