The house is a home away from home in all aspects, especially if you have a family that wants to stay and hang out together. The easy check in/out was wonderful. The only thing that would have made the cooking and cleaning experience better would be the addition of measuring cups to the beautiful kitchen and a vacuum to use to...

"The house is great. There was an issue which the owners took care of promptly. This place does not have a/c and that is likely my fault. I'm sure I just missed it in the listing. The house wasn't too warm during the day but cooled down and sleeping at night was perfect. It is close to Hilo town. It is close to a general store if you need something and walking distance from a beach that apparently has seals at it frequently. We did not see any this trip. We had the house to ourselves....

"Very clean, has everything you need to stay for a week. Large space, big enough for 6 people. Nice location, close to Volcano NP. Water pressure is a bit lacking."

"I was super excited to stay at this property. The pluses...the Koy pond. The fish are amazing and love to eat. Also, the sounds at night from nature. Would have been nice to have a lounger in the sun room rather than just chairs. Not many other pluses. We tried to get connected to Internet. The welcome book didn't seem to match the house. The descriptions were off. There were at least 5 remotes but none of them did anything. Only one turned off and on the TV. TV was activated through Roku....
