"Love this place! There is so much history and so many things to look at. Each room has a different theme. Last time we stayed in the Baker suite which was 2 really cute rooms with a fireplace and a ski theme and this time was the Ira Allen suite which was 2 bedrooms and a common room so great for our family of 4 with different bedtimes. "Amazing location! This was a business travel. Location was wonderful! Property and room super clean! The only draw back the heat was set too high and room had an extremely stale smell. I think maybe an air freshener, Lysol, or one of those plug ins would work. I tried to open a window to let fresh air in the windows didn’t open "

It really felt like home away from home-home without having chores or errands to do, just relax. "We had to change rooms because the old toilet wouldn't stop running in the first room. The second room was spotless except for the grout and cauking in the bathroom that was blackened. Everything else about the place was very good and very comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. The continental breakfast included scrambled eggs and bacon that we weren't expecting. Overall we very happy with our stay."

"The contactless checkin and checkout was incredibly convenient, and the room itself was gorgeous, with cozy linens and spacious bathroom. While we were at one of the buildings apart from the main house, the staff was always available for questions and concerns. Would definitely stay again, maybe in the warm weather months to take advantage of the grounds."
