"Stayed here one night because of the lack of affordable accommodation in Leipzig. Hotel is across the road from the train station, making it convenient to get to Leipzig, which was our main priority. Hotel is surrounded by woodland and has parking available. Rooms are on the small side, but the biggest issue was that there is no air-conditioning (only a portable fan) or a fridge in the rooms and as they are on the top floor, they become stifling in the summer heat. You can't open the windows...

In that case they should put the free water in the fridge instead of putting it on the table so it gets varm. Last thing was the juice at breakfast. "Everything and anything in the castle stinks with cat urine! The sanitation department should check this place. A cat killed a mouse right in front of us in the "lobby"... The "apartment" rented to us was not a true rental, it was someone else's full time apartment that was cleaned for us. It had all the articles of the owner. Really gross. The people who live and work there really try hard and are nice, but not disclosing the cat pee stink and the fact that the property was someone's permanent...

"The hotel has no AC. Our room was above the front of the hotel, where everyone gathered on the patio to drink and smoke. The noise and the smell were terrible. The room was hot, and to open the window your room smelled of smoke. We woke up at 6:30 am to the smell of smoke. How dreadful! We asked for a fan, but the hotel did not have any. And the hotel is located on a busy road. Needless to say, we had a terrible sleep. We were cycling the Elbe river. We would not recommend. "
