"Generally an enjoyable stay. However, no Gin, Port or Baileys available at any bar. Dinner ok, expensive for what it was. Excellent breakfast. Good pool and facilities, but the sauna was out of order, as was the swimming costume spinner. Beautiful grounds. Thoroughly enjoyed the clay pigeon shooting."

"Never been to Watford (from US) but took a chance. Turned out to be an amazing place. Cool old UK pub and above, modern chic rooms. Ann Maria was the bartender and hotel host and she was outstanding and a hoot. She treated us like family from the moment she met us. Sean the manager treated us the exact same way. "Excellent hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by how lovely and relaxed this hotel was. Staff were super friendly and helpful. A big shout to the gym staff who were always super helpful and to the young man who cleared the breakfast tables with a smile and always willing to help. We were there for a harry potter weekend as was most families and it was a wonderful place to stay- great location and wonderful swimming pool and gymn to decompress after!"
