A bit off the main path, a wonderfully restored house. Staff were friendly, helpful and well informed. Dinner and drinks a real treat, but in my mind the wonderful old woodwork was what I will remember the most!

The location was amazing, and the house and room were very nice. Check-in was easy, and the staff was great. Housekeeping in the room could use a bit of work as I found trash from previous guests in a couple of the desk drawers. Most of our meal was delicious but my venison was over cooked but my wife was perfect. No one asked us about our meal until they came to clean the dishes away and when I mentioned the overcooked meat I got an "Oh sorry" with no offer to fix the issue.

Very underwhelming. Bathroom plumbing needs serious attention, leaking shower, very weak WiFi, overpriced and mediocre food, uncomfortable room, and so on. Only redeeming feature was the view of the loch.
