"The property is overall really good, the bed was comfortable. The staff was really good they provided me with extra towels at no additional cost. Safe parking and location of the hotel is exactly to be on point, especially if you are visiting the city center. "
"The whole process of being able to stay there was awful.
I had emails asking me to verify my identity but no correct link sent.
I was threatened with a cancellation without refund desite the fact they had not given me the opportunity to do what they asked.
Having finally been sent a link I verified and arrived to be told this was very common.
At the property Fire Doors were constantly janmed open."
"We stayed as a group of 8 ladies, we we watching a show at the stage making this apartment the perfect location. Directly outside the metro station, with a few minutes walk. The apartment had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy. Would highly recommend "
"0/5 – Worst stay of my life.
Plummer House Newcastle was an absolute disgrace from start to finish. The room was filthy on arrival — dirty sink and work surfaces, stained floors, damaged furniture, worn cabinets, filthy fridge, marked and stained chairs, and mugs that looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. This is not “student accommodation” or “serviced living” — it’s neglect.
The female manager was rude and unprofessional, even trying to make me check out 12 hours earlier...
"Absolutely amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer. Accommodations were perfect with a lot of little extras and Rachel, our was very pleasant and extremely helpful. "
"If you are going to Newcastle, just book this place. Its 5 min walk from the station and so central for the nightlife. Great pub underneath and food options everywhere.
The apartment was clean and well laid out, the communication from Gary was spot on. Dont think, just book it."

"Stayed for 1 night.
Only bad thing was they don't cater for families as in having a double and single bedrooms. We had to pay an extra £50 for a camp bed to be added to our room. We had to upgrade to a junior suite as a standard wasn't big enough.
Having said that the room was beautiful, modern and very comfortable. The hotel had that new smell which was lovely. The carpets were plump, thick and lush.
We ate in the restaurant and had breakfast and all food was very tasty, a little expensive but thats what you should expect for this hotel.
We will be back. Overall great hotel."
"We booked the Copthorne Hotel as we had tickets to see Peter Kay at the Utilita Arena. We decided to turn it into a mini break staying at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel was only a short walk from the arena and we also walked from the train station, again only a short walk. We had a lovely view of the River Tyne and two swivel chairs positioned in front of the window. It was such a good view that we spent each evening sitting in front of that window with a drink. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfy and reasonably clean, with a small fridge that you could stock yourself. There were tea/coffee making bits. We had a meal on the Saturday night at the hotel which was nice and I left my husband at the bar to enjoy the football. The room also had a hair dryer, fan, ironing board and iron. The water pressure was great so the shower was amazing. I would go back to this Hotel if I ever visit Newcastle again. It was just the perfect spot to walk to most destinations that we needed to get to and the room was a great space to relax in. Also if you are a runner take your running gear as it is a great place to enjoy a run along the river."
"This was our first visit here, we stayed for 2 nights and I've no doubt we will be back. Every staff member we met was warm, friendly, professional and extremely helpful. We upgraded our room to a Executive King & Single Room, the room itself was very clean, on a corner location and was massive with an amazing huge floor to ceiling window with city views, we took great delight in sitting having drinks at the table and chairs watching the world go by. We weren't disturbed by any street noise whatsoever. The bathrobes were so soft and fluffy, plenty towels, toiletries, teas, coffees, biscuits etc. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Enjoyed sitting in the courtyard, lovely space. Our only bugbear was the lack of storage space, especially in such a large room and, while I don't mind living out of a suitcase for a couple of nights some shelf / drawer storage would have been good. "Third time we have stayed at this hotel and it’s always a great stay.
Friendly staff, spotless rooms and perfect central location
Super comfortable beds and to say it’s in the city centre close to some music venues it’s really quiet and minimal road noise.
Nice to see separate bins for recycling in the rooms :)
We always park at the Train station which is a two minute walk from the hotel and only £15 to park from Friday morning to Monday which is great value"
"The staff made our experience fabulous. Everyone we met was helpful, friendly and accommodating. I am disabled and needed to use a mobility scooter to get around, nothing was too much bother. The first room was difficult to access for me, we informed reception and were seamlessly and quickly moved to another room. The restaurants, expecially Fusion were amazing, the food was some of the best we have had! We celebrated our wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday, we were treated to a special desert and our room was decorated with rose petals, towel art and complimentary chocolates. I had read mixed reviews, however, our experience was first class. Yes some areas need touching up a little, having said that, the staff made our visit amazing. Due to medical conditions I didnt know if I would be able to use the spa facilties, Lilly to the rescue!! She escorted us to a different access point, where I was able to park my scooter much nearer, she checked I was able to access the hydrotherapy pool safely, this small act of kindness had an enormous impact on my wellbeing, she made such a difference, what lovely people they all are. Whatever they did, they did with a smile and genuinely cared. The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to have a sign in the car park asking guests using room facilities for events, to respect others by not drivng around the car park at speed or sit revving engines for over an hour, whist blocking access. We will definitely be returni"
