We loved our stay at the Simsbury House! We were wanting an authentic New England bed and breakfast experience, and we definitely got it here! The staff were very friendly, our room was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

Really the place is an actual Bed and breakfast and just needs some scraping and sprucing up of the paint. It was lovely. The large covered porch is beautiful. Our room was pretty with a 4 poster bed and quiet. We did not hear our neighbors. We have been here many times through the years.

I would highly recommend the 1820 house to anyone looking for a cute getaway. My husband and I went for a wedding in the area, but I wish we could have stayed longer because it was the coziest little spot! Continental breakfast was perfect and the staff was amazing. Loved it.

This is a lovely old inn with lots of charm. The setting is perfect and the outdoor seating very nice. Morning coffee service was good. Front desk was friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor with very low ceilings. I suspect we got a lesser room because we booked through a 3rd party. While the bed was very comfortable, overall our room needed an overhaul. I was able to view a few other rooms on floor below us and they were much nicer. Ask for a room on first or second floor.
