"We had a great harbor, sea & mountain view from our balconied room. The room, although somewhat small, was very comfortable with very nice decor & comfortable beds. Complimentary coffee/tea & espresso in the lobby was quite a nice feature and the breakfast was over the top excellent! The hotel restaurant was surprisingly quite good as well! "This hotel is right on the water and had an incredible view. The breakfast buffet is really good and had several options (including gluten free). The only reason for not choosing 5 stars is because the rooms are very dated and there isn’t free parking on the property. "

"The hotel is ok if you need it just for a couple of days. There’s no reception. You check in yourself by taking your key for a locker in front of your room. Room was ok, but it looked quite old. The only problem is the location is quite outside from the center and you need to walk a bit to reach it."

"Casa stupenda e molto ben arredata. Cucina attrezzata e pulita. Vista stupenda.. abbiamo anche goduto dell’aurora boreale comodamente dal balcone di casa!"

"We ended up staying in a shipping container converted into a room. It was quite small and cramped. The windows were not equipped for wind, and there was constant banging on our windows all night. The place was somewhat hard to find - inadequate instructions. Finally, the place itself feels quite spooky, especially when other people aren’t walking around."

A long way from the airport

"Location was great, central in Harstad. Staff was helpful and courteous. Please make note that taxis from the airport are not inexpensive. If you arrive at night, about $80 per person. Recommend coming when bus is still running or making rebtal car arrangements b4 you land."

"What a quaint spot! We loved our stay here, it felt authentic and small but was clean and modern in terms of amenities available. Best nights sleep I had on my trip and breakfast in the morning was delicious! There wasn’t dinner service on our stay due to staffing but we knew ahead of time and picked up some grocery items to have out on the patio tables by the water. Then walked among the small beaches. Just a lovely experience!! Stay here if you’re making your way from Tromso to the lofotens!"
