"Old, outdated. It was quiet, which was good, but very strong cigarette smoke smell when entering the lobby. We had a non- smoking room so we did not smell it in our room or on the 3rd floor. Took a long time to get checked in - just very slow service. We did not eat breakfast there, do can’t comment on that. Next door to a truck stop which was convenient. "

"The hotel was really rustic, lake was beautiful for fishing and a little picnic. It’s nice for a little getaway, the location was awesome, it had a ton of good places to eat close by. I am giving 5 stars because of how nice staff were to us, would definitely come back. Don’t believe all the bad reviews, this place is indeed a little older than hotels but it has a nice charm to it. "Stayed overnight with our boys and dog. Jake checked us in, great attitude and friendly. Nice area in the side for pets to go potty with baggies and receptacle. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfy. It was a little noisy at night due to a wedding after party, but not the hotel’s fault. The complimentary breakfast was nice, eggs, sausage, muffins, fruit, yogurt and a waffle making station. Would come back."
