"Pam and Dallas were incredibly welcoming and kind. Check-in with Pam was easy as can be and a couple of accommodation requests that we had (a bucket of ise for champagne, and a couple decks of cards) were promptly delivered tom our room by Dallas. Our room was neat, warm, and cozy. Exactly what we needed on a late January trip. Pam's breakfast was incredible, featuring eggs Florentine, sausage, mixed berried and yogurt, and the most amazing orange muffins. We will definitively be coming back...

"We were invited to a wedding at the Millerstown Moose Lodge on 12/13/2024. "We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet. "While the place is very cute, there were many odd things about it. First and foremost, there is NO AC in the room. Room description also advertised a bathrobe and desk and those were not provided either. I had to sleep with two fans and one window open (the other two did not have screens). That night, I went to get a drink at the coffee bar and the common area was very dark and could not find a light switch anywhere.
