"Our stay was beyond incredible. Ascrib's View had everything we could need and want. It was seemingly recently renovated, exceptionally clean, and perfectly beautiful. The view was unmatched, and the location was great for going in any direction. Highly recommend. "

I found a the stalk from a buch of grapes by the side of the bed which i was surprised was missed if the floors had supposedly been hoovered!? The ajoining restaurant/pub was good. A perfect piece of luxury in remote Skye

"Picked this hotel on a whim, and turned out to be the nicest part of our trip in the Highlands and Islands. A beautiful building with lovely period decor, however still kept up to date where our en-suite had a fabulous wet room with bath. On top of the fabulous building and location the food was excellent, and the bar was well stocked. Finally. The staff. Perfect friendly, helpful and welcoming. Every single person we interacted with mate is feel welcome and at home."

No glam and glitz, but traditional Scottish feel!

"This was the best little hotel we stayed in while traveling through Scotland. I was skeptical based on reviews. But it was an efficient hotel. No frills, not fancy, older hotel. Could it use a renovation? Yes. Did it bother us? No!! It was clean. Restaurant was traditional. The staff was super sweet and treated us like family. Very understanding when the Texan had no clue how to turn on a radiator! 😂. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The experience was worth more than fancy furnishings and glitz. We highly recommend!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for new year's. Self check-in and out was very simple. The staff were really lovely, helpful and down for a chat. The view from our window was magnificent, overlooking the bay. The perfect home base for our explorations on Isle of Skye. The only thing that would improve the experience would be a mini fridge to keep groceries and milk fresh. Although mini fridges seem to be more common in Australian accommodation, as I haven't had one anywhere we have stayed in the UK. "

"I had an absolutely wonderful time here. The staff at the front desk was so helpful, and so quick to address any question or concern. My meals were excellent as was the service in the dining room and bar. The Sauna/cold plunge experience was exceptional and the coziness of my cabin cannot be paralleled. I cannot speak more highly of this experience, book it! "
